Course Overview

Women’s Health – TCM Perspective for Health and Wellness Practitioners is a focused course designed to help learners understand women’s health through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

In TCM, women’s health is often understood through the relationships between Qi, Blood, Essence, Liver, Spleen, Kidney, emotions, constitution, lifestyle, and life-stage changes. This course introduces learners to the core TCM concepts that can support responsible women’s wellness education and health betterment guidance.

The course is suitable for health and wellness practitioners who wish to deepen their understanding of women’s wellness from a TCM perspective, including menstrual health, emotional balance, fertility-related wellness awareness, pregnancy and postnatal considerations, menopause, ageing, and daily self-care principles.

Why This Course Matters

Women’s health is not a single issue. It changes across life stages, stress levels, work demands, family responsibilities, sleep patterns, constitution, diet, emotions, and ageing. A responsible TCM perspective helps practitioners observe these patterns more holistically.

This course is not designed to replace medical care or clinical diagnosis. Its value lies in helping learners understand how TCM explains women’s wellness patterns and how health betterment principles may be communicated safely, clearly, and responsibly.

For the TCMandYou education pathway, this course strengthens the practitioner’s ability to translate TCM knowledge into practical women’s wellness education, corporate wellness programmes, community talks, and daily self-care guidance.
