Whenever I was asked to describe myself, I would always mention the traits as Curiosity and Creativity. A while ago, I wrote an article about creativity. So what about curiosity?
So why did I decide to use ‘Curiosity’ as one of the traits I describe who I am. It is due to the fact that I desire to know about the world and beyond. One way of doing so would be to hop across Wikipedia articles reading about facts from topics about animals to topics that discuss humanity. And beyond the internet to spend time in the library or the bookstore or sometimes just looking around the physical spatial space for anything that I could observe or take a picture of. That desire to know and learn are the reasons why I use curiosity.
Since I wrote about the Creativity Process, is there a Curiosity Process? Honestly, that rarely comes to my mind. But since I am on that topic, I would illustrate what that process would look like at a basic level
Lack of Knowledge > Research > Recording of Knowledge > Stored Knowledge
Desire for Knowledge instead of lack of knowledge
Currently that would be the basic and most fundamental aspect of the ‘Curiosity Process’, and from there many possible versions of such a process can be developed, such as the interaction between the new knowledge and the old knowledge. Which I will discuss more in future post!
