The Modern Standard Kreotzan is largely based on Classical Kreotzan however the vocabulary and phonology is based on the Spoken vernacular of the capital rather than the classical kreotzan text. Apart from that the grammar is almost identical

Modern Varieties

Aside from the Standard, various local dialects are spoken in which some of the border dialects form a dialect continuum with other languages and are mutually intelligible with the border dialects of neighbouring nations

Writing Systems

The writing system of the Kreotzan Language is a Logographic Kreotzan Script. The City States of Zeoshresti uses an alphabetical script called the Zeoshresti script (whether Zeoshresti is a seperate language is up to debate)
